Statistics show there is a lack of representation of women in directorship and executive roles in Australia. Women advise they are not being considered nor offered these senior appointments.

Have you witnessed your male counterparts being promoted into leadership roles with less experience and capability? Have you tried to adopt an overpowering masculine leadership style to compete with male counterparts which has earned an unflattering reputation? This may have confused your colleagues and formed a rift with your female peers. Do you believe your level of remuneration is not your worth and have you unsuccessfully sought to remedy this?

Building Your Own Brand of Leadership workshop provides women with a set of leadership skills and proven practical techniques to compete more effectively with their male counterparts.

This workshop is for women leaders who are ready to build their own Brand of Leadership to differentiate themselves, be authentic and develop a leadership profile.

This workshop will cover

• Review Your Current Leadership capability
• Acquire Core Leadership Skills
• Determine your Authentic Brand of Leadership
• Chart a course of Action
• Acquire practical leadership experiences and learn techniques to enhance your capability
• Learn how internal and external organizational influences can expand Leadership capability

Course Content:

Day 1

You will assess your own current level of leadership capability. You will be introduced to the six core leadership skills of Visionary, Strategic, Political, Relationship Making, Communication and Enabling Results.

You will be introduced to different brands of leadership to recognise the ‘spin’ on a leadership brand and how personality, character and qualities define the success of leadership. Time to reflect upon defining your own Brand of Leadership which will enable you to chart a course of action to determine leadership behaviours and qualities you need now and in the future.

Day 2

You will be introduced to practical techniques and experiences to develop your own authentic Brand of Leadership aligned with the six core leadership skills. We will discuss and practise techniques of developing political savvy and focus on the positive benefits of raising your political profile. We will discuss how internal and external influences play a role in the development of Leaders.
